Wabash Journal on Teaching Redesign
OVERVIEW
The Wabash Center Journal on Teaching is an annual journal focused on teaching in religious and theological studies in higher education. The editors were looking for a complete redesign of their annual publication to keep the format scholarly while modernizing it and making it more mobile-friendly, as the primary way this publication is used is digitally.

OUTCOME
After discussing a solution that would work with their online publisher as well as their potential print partner, we decided that designing in the "digest" format would allow for a standard size for printing but also work well on moble.
I appreciated how the authors expressed themselves through their article layouts. One unique challenge was blending their vision with the digest's styling. As seen in the above spread.
I wouldn't say this if I didn't mean it; the articles in this issue are excellent, and I highly recommend checking them out and reading through them.
